Thanksgiving

As I am sitting here in Daytona just finishing stuffing myself. I really look at how great full I am and how much we are blessed in the US. I have been all over the world and even with the economy this is still the best county in the world. We are safe and not under attack like India, I am praying for all those who lost their lives. Please join with me and think of what you are thankful for.

Election

I know this is a little late but I wanted to get my thoughts before I wrote. I know we fought a good campaign and a great race but this is what makes America great. President Elect Obama had more to vote for him than against. I feel hopeful, not for what he said but the fact that 58 million Americans did not vote for him and he admited that he needs to win our vote so I feel that will hold him more to the center and that is good for America. I pray for him and wish his success and I hope he turns out to be a great President.

Life is good

Life is really good! The day after the election I come to work and am very bummed out. Well I get a message from NSA and they accepted me and I will start in couple of months. In addition I knocked out another section of my Bishops test so in April I only have History and Polity left, yuck!

People moving on

I just received a call from my old Pastor. It was a little surprising, he informed me that he just left the COG. I know it would happen one day but did not expect it yet. I wish him and the church well.

Football Saturday

I am sitting here watching both of my teams get beat, very depressing. On the plus site I am preparing a sermon for Sunday night on friendship. I am excited about it. Remember this Tuesday is very important! Whoever you vote for just vote! God bless.

President

This is the biggest election in my lifetime. We need to make sure to get out and vote! Now when you vote do not vote for a color or party. Vote on the issues. If you want a socialist and liberal US then vole for Obama, if you want one that is capitalist and strong on defense then vote for McCain. We will survive either one and God is still in control.
